To celebrate our last day in Berlin we started the morning with an East german prison Camp. In this particular prison that we went to, we learned that Tom Hanks shot a scene in that same building for a movie. We also learned about different types of prison cells and learned who went in what type of cell. It was important for prisoners to keep their minds active while they were locked in the cells. We learned about The technology within the cells. The prisoners were expected to sleep a certain way , with their hands on the blanket and their heads up!! We also got a look into an interrogation room.
I Once we finished up the tour. We went to a famous lake to enjoy a delicious lunch. The restaurant we went to was very nice.
Once we finished we headed to a very informative bus tour of the great city of Berlin. We learned so much about the city and we learned even more about the culture of Germany!!
After the bus tour we went shopping in a famous Berlin shopping center. We got a look at very cool stores!! It was such an experience to see a 6 story mall!!! However, everything was quite expensive. (This was a picture from the Lego store)
After the shopping center , we went back to our youth hostehostel, finished packing up our things, and enjoyed our last and final day in Germany 🖤❤💛
