My host family began the day by having breakfast together. Around 12:30 Leonie, her friend Maibritt, my hostmother, and I left the house to go to Groningen.
When we arrived, we had a bit of trouble finding parking, but once we did we started walking around to do a bit of shopping. It rained while we were walking around so we waited inside stores and ran from one to the next to avoid the rain. On the way there we had made a last minute decision to go to the Therme in Nieuweschanz (basically a spa). So while we were shopping we had to buy bathing suits and towels because we didn't bring any. At the Therme, there was a warm pool of spring water, water beds for sleeping, a sauna, and many other things. We relaxed there for 2 hours then headed home. Overall it was a very relaxing day.
