Today I went to a local island called Spiekeroog.
We started the day by taking a ferry to the island. It was very pretty to look at the water while on the boat. When we arrived on the island we went to a restaurant nearby and had a lovely breakfast of bread, cheese, and meats. After that we ventured off to the beach where we spent a lot of time.
The water was super clear and there were tons of hermit crabs in it, I even saw a jellyfish! After I relaxed in the water we laid in the sand for a while, enjoying the warmth of the sun. Then we looked around the island a little bit, going into various shops, eventually getting ice cream to eat. I got lightly scolded for feeding a bird ): after that we went back on the ferry to go back to Wilhelmshaven, where we had a great dinner near a harbor of schnitzel, potatoes, and salat.
Overall the day was very lovely and the island was absolutely beautiful!”
